Monky island
Monkey Island, også kjent som Hon Lao, ligger i Nha Phu-bukten, omtrent 18 km nord for
Nha Trang. Øya er berømt for sine over 1200 frittlevende aper, som opprinnelig ble brakt
dit i 1975 for forskning. I dag er det et populært økoturisme-sted med vakker natur,
strender og aktiviteter som apesirkus, flytepark og dykking. Besøkende kan mate apene og

Monkey Island, also known as Hon Lao, is located in Nha Phu Bay, about 18 km north of
Nha Trang. The island is famous for its over 1,200 free-living monkeys, which were
originally brought there in 1975 for research. Today, it is a popular ecotourism destination
with beautiful scenery, beaches and activities such as a monkey circus, a floating park and
scuba diving. Visitors can feed the monkeys and enjoy fresh air and delicious seafood in a
relaxed atmosphere.
